VAS Inches Carr Mentoring Award

Awarded in late 2019 at The Visual Art Scotland Exhibition

The purpose of the award is to encourage and mentor makers to develop their practice to a higher level, consider innovation and introducing new materials or techniques to their existing practise.

Stefanie worked with Simon Burns Cox to lean larger scale stone carving and lettering techniques and with hard stone carver Charlotte De Syllas to work on smaller scale works in detail. She also explored other stone making techniques such as Intarsia.
